Víctor Sandoval, regional president of PymeMad Biobío-Ñuble, participated in the roadmap validation workshop held within the framework of Session No. 36 of the Biobío Madera Executive Committee, a Regional Strategic Program promoted by Corfo, an instance that brings together key actors from the regional wood ecosystem.

The workshop constituted a key step to project the program's coming years, strengthen the sector's strategic planning, identify new gaps, and prioritize initiatives aimed at consolidating the development of industrialized wood construction in the region. The activity is part of an articulation process that seeks to strengthen productive capacities and generate opportunities for local development.

During the session, two new members were also incorporated into the program's governance, adding representation from organizations linked to the construction sector and the regional business ecosystem. Likewise, progress was presented on a public design platform for manufacturing and assembly of standardized components intended for social housing, an initiative executed in collaboration with academic institutions and public agencies in the housing sector.

Sandoval's participation in this instance ensures that the voice of small and medium-sized wood enterprises is present in defining the strategic priorities that will guide the industry's development in the coming years, reaffirming PymeMad's commitment to strengthening industrialized wood construction, based on collaboration, sustainability, and regional leadership.
