PymeMad was represented by its national vice president, Lorena Vargas, at the Gremios x Chile Ñuble Business Meeting, organized by the Confederation of Production and Commerce (CPC) and Inacap in Chillán. Vargas attended representing PymeMad Biobío-Ñuble and the guild's national board.
The event, led by Susana Jiménez, president of the CPC, and Lucas Palacios, rector of Inacap, brought together the main guild leaders of the Ñuble region in a collective work session aimed at building a common business agenda and strengthening coordination among regional guilds.
"Ñuble has enormous potential, but also faces significant challenges. Spaces like this allow the different guilds to converse, coordinate, and advance with a common vision, leaving isolated work behind," stated Vargas.
During her presentation, the president of the CPC identified the forestry sector as one of the strategic opportunities for Ñuble's development. In that vein, Vargas highlighted that the wood industry not only drives the local economy but also offers opportunities to move towards more sustainable and innovative solutions, aligned with environmental care.
The vice president of PymeMad also emphasized the need to improve enabling infrastructure for industrial growth in the region, optimize logistical times, and facilitate access to new markets, linking productive development with the training of relevant human capital through effective collaboration among guilds, educational institutions, and the public sector.
The meeting included work tables, a panel with regional guild leaders, recognition of innovative companies from Ñuble, and the signing of a Gremios x Chile commitment.
PymeMad's participation in this instance reaffirms the guild's commitment to business coordination and the sustainable development of the territories where Chile's small and medium-sized timber companies operate.
