PymeMad elected its new national board in an Assembly held on March 26, 2026, in Constitución, renewing its leadership with Hernán Muñoz Bernal as the new National President and a board with representation from the four regions of the forestry-timber sector.

Muñoz Bernal assumes the national presidency accompanied by Lorena Vargas as Vice President, and a board composed of Carlos Aravena, Rocío Lagos, Fernando Rosselot, Michel Esquerré, and Víctor Sandoval. The new leadership takes on the commitment to strengthen the association's governance, moving towards representation that reflects the reality of each region and allows each to define its own priorities.

A highlight of the day was the recognition of Michel Esquerré, who led PymeMad Nacional during the previous period. "Thank you, Michel, for your dedication, your commitment, and your passion, not only for PymeMad but for the entire forestry sector," stated Muñoz Bernal, highlighting that Esquerré will continue to contribute to institutional development in his new role as a board member.

The new board's goal is to build internal strength from within, enabling PymeMad to more forcefully influence decisions affecting the sector. The members have called for a return to the essentials: placing the interests and problems of the associates at the center, and this new leadership will dedicate itself to that.

The renewal of the PymeMad Nacional board reaffirms the association's commitment to the effective representation of the country's small and medium-sized timber enterprises, with renewed leadership that prioritizes internal strength as the foundation for greater sectoral influence.
