Víctor Sandoval, president of PymeMad Biobío-Ñuble, participated as a speaker at the launch of the Wood Revolution program, a training and support initiative for entrepreneurs in the forestry-timber sector of Biobío Province, organized by Rediversas.
The program, which aims to strengthen business ventures and ideas linked to the timber sector, will bring together 30 entrepreneurs to develop projects related to the industry. The initiative includes 40 hours of specialized training in business models, innovation, and commercial strategy, in addition to direct connection with the Forest Industry Roundtable, a body that brings together companies and guilds from the sector.
On this occasion, Sandoval delivered a presentation focused on the innovative capabilities already being developed by small and medium-sized timber enterprises. "The focus of the presentation was to show that SMEs are innovating, they are doing things with wood," stated the guild leader, highlighting that construction and the use of wood as a material are areas where SMEs in the sector demonstrate a concrete track record of modernization.
Wood Revolution arrives in Biobío Province after a first experience in the Ñuble region, consolidating its territorial expansion and its commitment to connecting new entrepreneurs with the productive chain of the timber sector.
Sandoval's participation in this event reaffirms PymeMad's commitment to strengthening the regional timber ecosystem, connecting new talents and entrepreneurs with the experience and vision of the SMEs that sustain the sector's productive chain.
