Representatives of PymeMad Nacional held a meeting with Augusto Robert, who recently assumed the vice presidency of corporate affairs at CMPC, replacing Guillermo Turner, reaffirming the joint work between the company and the SMEs in the sector.

The meeting, held in Concepción, aimed to establish an initial approach with the new executive and learn about the guidelines that will guide CMPC's relationship with the small and medium-sized timber enterprise sector.

During the meeting, the continuity of the strategy that CMPC has maintained regarding the productive linkage with timber SMEs was confirmed. "There is continuity in the strategy towards the forestry sector in general and the work with SMEs on the part of CMPC. There is no change in vision regarding what needs to be done," said Michel Esquerré, national president of PymeMad.

Esquerré also highlighted that the forestry company maintains the conviction to generate a collaborative environment that strengthens the sector as a whole. "CMPC is convinced of generating an environment and a linkage that improves the forestry sector as a whole," added the union leader.

These types of instances are fundamental for articulating work between large companies and SMEs, in a context where the sector faces challenges that require collaboration and a long-term vision.

The meeting with Augusto Robert reaffirms PymeMad's commitment to strengthening the strategic ties between timber SMEs and large forestry companies, promoting an integrated development of the sector that benefits the entire productive chain.
