1. Lorena Vargas, vice president of PymeMad BioBío Ñuble and manager of Guivar Transforma, participated in the Regional Export Council that brought together leaders of companies with export potential to strengthen capabilities and generate collaboration networks through the Mujer Exporta program.

ProChile held its annual meeting of the Regional Export Council in Ñuble, an instance specifically designed for women leading exporting companies or with potential to venture into international markets. The event featured the participation of Vargas, who attended in her dual role as vice president of PymeMad BioBío Ñuble and manager of Guivar Transforma, along with other businesswomen from the region.

During the session, participants learned in detail about the tools that ProChile makes available to enhance export activity, with special emphasis on the Mujer Exporta program. This initiative works along three strategic lines: training, network generation and empowerment, in addition to commercial promotion, seeking to reduce existing gaps for women entrepreneurs in international trade.

The meeting brought together representatives from diverse sectors such as wine, technology, research, services and agriculture, reflecting Ñuble's productive diversity. The networking session allowed for the exchange of experiences and perspectives among attendees, strengthening the regional female business fabric.

Mujer Exporta is aimed at women entrepreneurs who are owners, partners or hold leadership positions in companies with export potential or that already export, belonging to three macrosectors: value-added foods, services and industries, and creative economy. The program has international strategic alliances with organizations such as WeConnect International, UN Women, CORFO and the Ministry of Women, in addition to chambers of commerce from various markets.

Vargas' participation in this instance reflects PymeMad's commitment to strengthening the regional export ecosystem, where companies like Guivar Transforma can access tools and networks that facilitate their international projection, contributing to economic development and the presence of female leadership in global markets.
